Reyburn Percussion
Percussion class is open to students interested in percussion with a suggested minimum of one year experience in instrumental music education. This is a class that will involve education all all areas of percussion including mallets and auxiliary percussion. This class has a limited number of spaces and may require auditions. Percussionists will perform in concerts and festivals throughout the year. Students in this class will be expected to be a member of Winter Percussion and a member of the Reyburn Drumline, which entails after school rehearsals and commitment.
After successfully completing one year of Percussion class, students will have sufficient training to be able to perform with the Symphonic and Concert Bands and will be placed into Symphonic Band. Percussionists will perform in concerts and festivals throughout the year, and at Day of Percussion in the spring. Students will be expected to be members of Winter Percussion and in the Reyburn Drumline, which entails after school rehearsals and commitment.
