Reyburn Intermediate Bands
The Symphonic Band is a premier middle school concert band experience, made up of wind players and percussionists through an audition process. The band performs exciting concert band literature throughout the year, with a high level of focus on music fundamentals such as theory, ear training, and musicianship. In the fall the Symphonic Band will perform at a fall and winter concert as well as fundraising events. In the second semester, the band will focus on a very challenging and exciting festival set performing at two CMEA ratings Festivals and our district intermediate band festival. Students in the Reyburn Symphonic Band are encouraged to participate in chamber ensembles and audition for local and state level honor bands. The Symphonic Band is a very rewarding experience!

The Concert Band and Intermediate Band are our entry level middle level band experience, made up of wind players and percussion students. This experience allows time for continued refinement of fundamental and basic training, while still exposing the students to exciting concert band literature throughout the year. In the fall the Concert Band will perform at a fall and winter concert as well as fundraising events. In the spring semester, the band will focus on a challenging set and participate in one CMEA Ratings Festival and our district intermediate band festival. Students will also have opportunities to explore chamber ensembles, audition for honor bands, and perform at our end of year spring concert.
